Dublin fire brigade have safely put out a fire on Aungier Street.

The blaze broke out earlier this afternoon at number 76.

Three fire units tackled the fire and brought it under control within half an hour.

It is understood that a minor incident with a blow torch being used for repair works on the roof of the premises sparked the blaze.
