Woman's body found on Clare beach

Gardaí are today investigating the discovery of a body on a beach in Co Clare.

The woman's remains were found at 8am this morning on Fanore strand.

Gardaí are at the scene, which has been sealed off for a technical examination.

A port mortem examination is to be carried out later.
