Murphy to host Dublin literature evening

'Dublin-swell - Words & Voices from the City of Literature' is taking place this evening in Dublin's Convention Centre.

Organised in conjunction with Dublin City Council and the Department of Tourism, Culture and Sport, the event brings together Ireland's best loved names in literature, music, film and theatre for a performance.

Singer Damien Dempsey, playwright Sebastian Barry, writer Cathy Kelly and poet Paul Durcan will all be taking part.

Broadcaster Mike Murphy will be Master of Ceremonies of an event that hopes to take its audience on a voyage through literary Dublin.
