Garda Ombudsman to probe Louth road death

The Garda Ombudsman Commission has launched an investigation into a fatal road incident in Co. Louth.

A 21-year-old man died in hospital this morning, after being involved in a single-vehicle collision on the Rathmullen Road, in Drogheda at around 8.30am yesterday morning.

The incident was referred to the Garda Ombudsman's Commission.

They are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
