Fog causing difficult driving conditions

Fog is causing problems for motorists again this morning.

The worst affected areas are the Midlands, Leinster, East Connacht, and Munster.

Driving conditions are hazardous and motorists are being advised to reduce their speed, keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front, utilise fog lights and do not forget to turn them off when you come out of the fog.

Yesterday, poor visibility on the M7 Dublin to Limerick Road led to around a dozen crashes.
