Gardaí renew appeal for information on Murray killing

Gardaí in Dublin are renewing appeals to the public in connection with an ongoing investigation into the killing of Liam Murray between March 17-20, 2009.

The body of the 42-year old was discovered at a house on Edmundstown Road, on March 20.

He had been socialising at a pub on the junction between South Circular Road and Clonbrassil Street up to 6pm on St Patrick's Day.

He was later seen in the Terenure area.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have seen Liam on St Patrick's Day or who may have been in the vicinity of Rockbrook Cottages to contact Terenure garda station

Up to 700 statements have been taken from witnesses during the course of the investigation as well as door-to-door enquiries.
