Gardaí investigate suspicious death of female foreign national in Tralee

Gardaí in Tralee are today investigating the death of a female foreign national in Tralee.

The body was found in a house in the Deerpark housing estate next to the Manor Retail Park on the outskirts of the town.

The death is being treated as suspicious.

Gardaí say they were alerted this afternoon and are pursuing a number of lines of enquiry. No arrests have been made.

The area has been sealed off and a full technical examination is underway.

The body of the woman, who is in her 20s, was discovered at around 3pm this afternoon.

The office of the State Pathologist has been informed, and the Technical Bureau has also been notified.

Gardaí are appealing to any persons who were in the Deerpark Estate in the last 24 hours to contact Gardaí in Tralee.
