Cheaper insurance for women under threat
Cheaper car insurance for women could soon be a thing of the past.
European judges are expected to rule on a case which argues that fees based on gender, breach discrimination laws.
If the judges back the claim, female drivers under 26 could face a 25% rise in rates.
Martin Lewis, creator of Moneysavingexpert.com, said it was not clear when the changes would be made.
"There is a chance it could be with immediate effect…or they may roll it out over the next three years," he said.
