Roche not giving up on Wicklow seat

Fianna Fáil has only managed to get 14 seats so far, but the party's Dick Roche is refusing to concede defeat in the Wicklow constituency.

However, he admits it is a long shot that he will win a seat there.

There are now no Fianna Fáil TDs in Meath, Tipperary, Roscommon, Leitrim, Sligo or Kerry.

The party has lost several big hitters including Mary Coughlan, Mary O'Rourke, Pat Carey and Sean Haughey, while Mary Hanafin's seat in Dun Laoghaire is doubtful.
