PSNI appeal for information on Belfast armed robbery

Police in the North are appealing for witnesses to a robbery at a newsagents in west Belfast last night.

Just before 9pm a man armed with a knife entered the shop in the Northumberland Street area.

He stole cash and cigarettes and made off on foot along the Falls Road where it is believed he may have got into a dark coloured car.

He is described as being around 20 years of age, 5 foot 11 inches in height, of slim build and was wearing a grey hoody and blue jeans.
