Kenny pledges fairer prices for producers and shoppers

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has pledged to deliver fairer prices for farmers and cheaper goods for consumers by taking on the supermarket giants.

Mr Kenny made the promise at a meeting of farm leaders in Dublin today, and said Fine Gael would bring forward legislation to stop some of the practices that have become ingrained in the system.
