Man killed in Limerick traffic accident
A man has been killed in a two-vehicle collision in Co Limerick today.
It happened on the Limerick Tipperary Road at around 1.45pm this afternoon.
The man was driving a motorbike when it and another vehicle pulling a trailer were in collision.
Emergency services are at the scene and the road at Beary's Cross has been closed off by gardaí.
It is the second fatality on the country's roads in less than a day.
At around midnight last night, a 51-year-old man was killed in a single-car crash in Rush, Co Dublin.
