British govt to give an extra £200m to PSNI

The British government has agreed to provide an additional £200m to help the PSNI combat the dissident terror threat in the North.

It comes after the North's Justice Minister David Ford and Chief Constable Matt Baggott made a formal request for the funding which will be spread over four years.
