Students attempt video game record for charity

Five friends in Westmeath are attempting to smash the record held for the longest time playing a video game.

The challenge is got underway at 2pm at the Golden Island Shopping Centre in Athlone and the students are trying break the current record of 33 hours.

Any money raised from their efforts will go to the Simon Community.
