Dublin had the highest average disposable income per person in 2008, according to the latest data from the Central Statistics Office.

Dublin had the highest average disposable income per person in 2008, according to the latest data from the Central Statistics Office.

At €25,337, it was 12% higher that the average of €22,615.

The Mid East was the only other regional authority where disposable incomes were higher than the average, while the Midlands and Border regions fared worst.

Dublin, Kildare, Limerick and Meath recorded higher-than-average incomes while Roscommon, Mayo, Longford, Kerry, Offaly and Donegal recorded lower-than-average incomes.
