Gardaí recover firearm in Cork murder probe
Gardaí investigating the murder of a man near Blarney in County Cork last Thursday have recovered a firearm.
Three men are still being questioned about the killing of Patrick "Packie" Hogan, who was laid to rest earlier today.
The 42 year old a father of five died after he was shot by a masked gunman on the Glen Road near Waterloo.
A rifle and a number of live rounds of ammunition were found on land in nearby Garrycloyne.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the surrounding area last Thursday to contact them.
Three men who were arrested remain in custody.
