Nigerian man convicted of rape and sexual assault

A Nigerian man has been convicted of raping a young woman in a Dublin apartment after a night out almost two years ago.

John Noghayin (aged 29) of Cabra Park, Dublin 7, had pleaded not guilty at the Central Criminal Court to raping and sexually assaulting the woman at a Dublin address on May 3, 2009.
