Cork Gardaí appeal for farmers' help in murder probe
Gardaí investigating the murder of a man in Blarney in Co. Cork last Thursday have made a specific appeal for the public's help.
Packie Hogan, a second-hand car dealer living in Carrigaline, was shot dead on the Glen Road between Grenagh and Waterloo at 3.45pm on Thursday afternoon.
Three people were detained a short time later and are still in custody for questioning in connection with the shooting.
A number of vehicles were also seized.
Investigating Gardaí have appealed to farmers in particular from Garrycloyne to Vicarstown, to contact them if they saw anything suspicious.
