The National Consumer Agency has begun legal proceedings against the publishers of the Irish Mail on Sunday.

It comes after the paper reprinted the Tribune's masthead on its own Sunday paper, despite the fact that the Tribune had gone into receivership.

The NCA said the move by the publisher, Associated Newspapers, breached the Consumer Protection Act.
