President McAleese to be honoured at Trinity College

President Mary McAleese is to be honoured today by the University Philosophical Society of Trinity College, Dublin.

It is awarding her the Inaugural William Molyneux Medal for Outstanding Contribution to Irish Politics.

The society says President McAlesse has made major improvements between communities in both parts of Ireland

A ceremony will be held this evening at the Graduates Memorial Building.
