Romanian man on trial for killing of nurse
A Romanian man has gone on trial accused of murdering a nurse in Sandyford, Dublin just over a year ago.
Mihalache Marian (aged 49) denies the murder of Loradena Prisjan at accommodation at the Irish Management Institute.
The opening day of the trial has heard the pair were in a relationship but the victim, who worked in a Ballsbridge nursing home, had begun a new relationship.
The prosecution has said staff at the hotel found the body of Ms Prisjan lying face down in a bloodstained room
