Debate to continue in Kenny's absence
Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny is to spend the day and evening on the campaign trail - missing the first TV debate of the 2011 General Election.
Enda Kenny has stated that he will not take part in this TV debate and will instead spend the time at a rally in the north west tonight.
For Micheál Martin and Eamon Gilmore it means cutting short the campaigning to prepare for this head to head.
Today Labour will announce plans for healthcare, Sinn Féin will outline plans for youth jobs, Fianna Fáil will be talking Finances, the Greens will discuss jobs and Fine Gael will outline changing the public service while protecting frontline services.
