Gilmore hits out at 'civil servant' Trichet
The Labour leader Eamon Gilmore has hit out at comments from the President of the European Central Bank Jean Claude Trichet.
Mr Trichet said Irish political leaders needed to accept the terms of the EU/IMF bailout.
But Eamon Gilmore - who wants to renegotiate the deal - said the ECB boss was a "civil servant" and civil servants always merely stick to the plan.
The Labour Party is to unveil a policy document on the "green economy" today that they say could deliver employment for up to 80,000 people.
