Woman injured in Wicklow gun attack

A woman has been injured after a gun attack in Co Wicklow.

The victim - in her 40s - was hurt in the lower back last night, when a shot was fired through the window of a house at Greenpark Road in Bray.

She was brought to St Vincent's Hospital in Dublin, but her condition is not serious.

The scene remains sealed off for a technical examination and gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
