Police appeal for witnesses to west Belfast shooting

Police in the North are appealing for witnesses to a shooting incident in west Belfast last night.

A 45-year-old man was shot in the leg twice at around a 11.15pm in the Hawthorn Street area.

He was taken to hospital where his condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
