Louth gardaí seize €810,000 worth of drugs
Gardaí have seized drugs worth €810,000 in Co Louth.
The discovery was made at about 9.30am today when officers stopped and searched a car which was travelling northbound on the M1 near Drogheda.
They found 30kgs of cannabis herb and 75kgs of cannabis resin. The driver of the car was arrested and is being held for questioning at Balbriggan garda station in Dublin under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.
