Belfast security alert 'may continue until tomorrow'

Police in the North say a security alert that has closed one of the main routes in Belfast - could continue until tomorrow.

Dissident republicans claim a bomb was abandoned on the Antrim Road and has now become unstable.

The route has been closed off as experts examine the device in the Glandore area, not far from a police station.

Several businesses have also had to stay shut.

Up to 50 families have had to spend the night out of their homes.
