Deputy Michael Lowry has said that his support for the Finance Bill is not guaranteed.

In statement a short time ago he urged that opposition parties, in their meetings with Minister for Finance Brian Lenihan tomorrow, negotiate any amendments required by the Opposition which would allow them to vote for the Bill and facilitate its enactment.

Deputy Lowry said that both he and Jackie Healy Rae are consulting with their local political organisations and would formally declare their stance in relation to the Finance Bill after the outcome of tomorrow's discussions between the Opposition and Minister Lenihan.
