Lenihan accepts need for new Election date

Brian Lenihan has acknowledged that March 11 is now not suitable as an Election date, after the Greens walked out of Government this afternoon.

"I accept that we have to accelerate the timetable for the General Election," said Minister Lenihan this evening.
