€7.65 minimum wage signed into law

The new national minimum wage rate is to take effect on February 1.

The Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Innovation Batt O’Keeffe signed the new order into law today, setting the rate at €7.65 an hour.

He said the move would help improve Ireland's economic competitiveness.
