More Aer Lingus flights disrupted by rosters row
Aer Lingus has cancelled and made changes to a number of flights after a row over new rostering arrangements grounded one return flight yesterday.
Today, these changes will apply:
- The EI 105 Dublin to New York will be operated by a hire-in aircraft, with a three-hour delay (approximately). The flight was originally due to depart at 10.45am.
- The EI 594 Dublin to Madrid and EI 595 Madrid to Dublin will be operated by a hire-in aircraft. No delays are expected.
- EI 125 Dublin to Chicago and EI 124 Chicago to Dublin have been cancelled.
- EI 104 New York to Dublin has been cancelled.
"This disruption is as a result of IMPACT cabin crew union continuing to refuse to operate the flights under a new roster system," the company said today.
Passengers intending to travel on the cancelled flights will be accommodated on alternatives flights.
