Man set for court appearance in connection with O'Shea killing
A man is due to appear in court in east Cork this evening in connection with the killing of a man in Youghal earlier this week.
The 29-year-old, originally from Cork city, was arrested yesterday in Cobh for questioning in connection with the death of Michael O'Shea.
The body of the 31-year-old victim was recovered from his flat on North Main Street in Youghal in the early hours of Thursday morning by firefighters called to tackle a blaze there.
A post mortem revealed he had suffered a knife wound to his neck, as well as other injuries, which led investigating officers to launch an investigation.
