Seven-year-old child airlifted to London hospital

A seven-year-old child was last night transported by the Air Corps from Dublin to Kings College Hospital in London.

The Lear jet fitted with a lifeport, left Casement Aerodrome at 10.30pm last night and arrived into London an hour later.

The jet remained there overnight to allow it be used today to bring a baby back to Ireland who had previously been brought to the same hospital by the Air Corps.
