Four men, three women arrested after double murder in Limerick
Four men and three women have been arrested in Limerick in connection with the murders of Des Kelly and Breda Waters at the weekend.
The couple's bodies were found at a house in O'Malley Park, Southill yesterday morning.
Gardaí have officially launched a double murder investigation after state pathologist, Prof Marie Cassidy, conducted preliminary examinations at the scene.
All seven people were arrested shortly after 2pm and are being questioned at various garda stations in Limerick.
Breda Waters' sister Tina said: "My heart's broken in two…I'll never fix my heart again…She (Breda) was a good girl with three beatutiful kids, and a good mother."
She added the family had not yet told Breda's children that their mother was dead.
