Gardaí urge drivers to slow down in wintry weather
The continuing wintry weather is making driving conditions hazardous once again this morning.
Ice and frost are the main concerns today, and the AA has said Munster and Leinster are particularly badly affected.
All routes into and around Limerick city are extremely icy, particularly at Croom, and also on the N21 Limerick to Abbeyfeale road.
In County Clare it is very icy on the Limerick to Ennis Road at Setwright's Cross, and there have been numerous minor collisions on the Ennis to Kilrush road.
Motorists in Cork and Tipperary are also being warned to be extra cautious.
