Honohan: New Govt can renegotiate parts of EU/IMF deal

The Central Bank Governor said today that parts of the EU/IMF deal could be renegotiated by an alternative Government.

The governor said he believes a new government would get a sympathetic hearing from Ireland's lenders - if they decided to come up with alternative fiscal proposals next year.
