Hospitals see drop in trolley numbers down to 400

There has been a further drop in the number of patients on trollies in hospitals around the country.

The number now stands at 400 - down from a record high on Wednesday of 569.

Hospitals have said they are dealing with a surge in activity because of swine flu and other seasonal illnesses.
