Firm issues recall for 700 boilers in the south

Nearly 400 faulty boilers are still in use in Cork and southern parts of the country.

GeminoX has warned there is a potential risk of overheating in certain models and issued a recall last September.

Up to 320 of the GeminoX Ebs immersion water cylinders have been located, but more than 380 still remain unaccounted for.

Around 700 were imported into Ireland by Aquatech in Cork between 2001 and 2006.
