Temperatures not expected to hit pre-Christmas lows as snow returns

More snow is forecast for tomorrow, but temperatures are not expected to hit the record levels seen before Christmas.

Met Éireann said temperatures would fall to well below zero on Thursday night and into Friday morning, but that it would not be as cold as the last cold snap. There will however, be some snow.
