Gardaí renew appeal over Finglas shooting

Gardaí in Dublin investigating a shooting on Thursday night are renewing their appeal for information.

The attack happened outside The Cappagh Nua public house on Barry Road in Finglas.

A black Volkswagon Golf estate which is believed to have been used as the getaway car was discovered by gardaí in Charlestown.

A man in his 40s was shot in the incident and remains in a stable but critical condition in hospital.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have seen the car before or after the shooting or have any information to contact them at Finglas Garda station on 01-6667500.
