Coldest night on record for the North

Northern Ireland has endured its coldest night on record.

A new low temperature was recorded in Castlederg in Co Tyrone, reaching -18C.

Hundreds of schools will again close today as there has been more snow for some areas overnight.

Driving conditions are described as extremely hazardous and motorists should exercise extreme caution on all roads.
