Heaviest snow for decades blankets country

Freezing conditions and further snow storms are predicted today with travelling difficult across the country.

Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports are fully operational this morning, but the DAA says there may be some delays to the flight schedule as a result of adverse weather conditions at other European airports.
