Man found guilty of sex assault on girl

A Cork man has today been convicted at the Central Criminal Court of sexually assaulting a teenage girl.

Mr Justice Paul Carney sent the jury home for the night after they had been deliberating for seven hours and 21 minutes on day five of the trial and asked them to return tomorrow morning to consider their verdicts on the remaining two charges of rape.
