Report: Govt to make more appointments to state boards
The Government is planning to make around 300 appointments to state boards before the general election.
Some 35 appointments have already been made since the Green Party announced it was pulling out of the coalition and called for an election.
The information was given to Fine Gael TD Leo Varadkar, who has called for a moratorium on such appointments until after the poll.
The Irish Times reports 291 appointments are due to be made by the end of February.
