Common sedative implicated in 31% of drug-related deaths

A common prescription sedative is a factor in just under a third of all drug-related deaths in Ireland.

A study co-ordinated by the Health Research Board shows Benzodiazapenes were implicated in 31% of drug-related deaths in 2007.
