Fatal Dublin house fire investigated

The cause of a house fire in Dublin that claimed the life of a 40-year-old man is being investigated today.

The blaze broke out just before midnight at a house in Cabra Park that is converted into flats.

Three other people who were living in the property were evacuated and one of them was taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

The Dublin Fire Service attended the scene and the fire was brought under control just before 3am.
