Man dies following frozen lake accident

A man has died in hospital after falling through ice on a lake in Co Armagh yesterday afternoon.

A police helicopter managed to hoist the 51-year-old from the bitterly cold Lurgan Park lake to a thicker section of ice but a boat carrying rescue personnel capsized as it tried to negotiate treacherous conditions.
