Labour demands reversal of minimum wage cut
Labour is demanding a reversal of the decision to cut the minimum wage.
The party is putting forward a Private Members Motion this week calling on the Government to change its mind on the €1 reduction.
Labour's Enterprise spokesman Willie Penrose has said the cut "makes no sense at any level".
He also said the hardship from the move will be "very significant" for tens of thousands of households who rely on minimum wage employment.
