Survey: People believe corruption has increased
Political parties and Oireachtas members are still seen as being the worst affected by corruption, according to a new survey.
More than six in ten people believe corruption levels in Ireland have increased over the past three years.
But bankers and those connected to the church are also cited.
John Devitt, Chief Executive of Transparency International Ireland said those surveyed are also critical of the failure to hold people to account for wrong-doing.
Mr Devitt said: "The findings are similar in other countries."
