Irish Budget makes headlines across the world

Ireland's Budget made a few more international headlines than usual this year.

Some 1,800 articles relating to the package appeared in more than 800 publications in 41 countries in the past 24 hours.

"The general tone I think was that it was expected," said Media analyst Stephen O'Leary. "A massive amount of the coverage related to the fact that there was now going to be stability in the markets."
